steve. this morning, growing anger over the recent decision by san francisco's district attorney to drop charges against a police officer accused of shooting and killing a man. now the family of sean moore says they are frustrated with district attorney brooke jenkins, who decided to drop manslaughter charges against sfpd officer kenneth cha for shooting moore six years ago. later this morning, moore's family will lead a rally outside the hall of justice to protest the decision. last week, the district attorney announced she was dropping the case because her office does not believe it could prove its case beyond a reasonable doubt. and pam, since she became district attorney about a year ago, brooke jenkins has been heavily criticized. jenkins, however, says progress is being made. fighting crime in san francisco . and among other things, she points to stronger ties to federal, state and other law enforcement agencies. 39 prosecutors have been hired by her office, and she says 72% more felony drug cases have been filed by her office, compared to her predecessor. we didn't get here overnight this was a years long process of allowing this problem to get worse and worse. and it's going to
