we got a break to see the clearing out toward stinson beach. you guys are still a little foggy. the cliff house may be seeing a little bit of sun right now. in san francisco and the avenues, often times you get fog. but it's been a lot of fog issues. lindamar as well. let's take a peak here. we're going to go right through the five day forecast and reset. what we're looking at, the next couple of days, we're looking for more sunshine and a little bit warmer temperatures. we're going to have fog and low cloud coming in tonight. the extended forecast is for slightly warmment . we're not expecting a big warm up just not a big heat up. this is the reason why it's been here all spring and all summer. it was wet because of this. fog at the coast, here's the high now, but it's not really persistent offshore. as it builds in this week end, it'll push the heat back toward the bay. but not the coast specifically. so as you look at your microclimates tomorrow. they'll break out like they did today. we'll move through your cities, arenda 74, out into walnut creek and concord, the 80s. mid-8

the phone calls i've been getting from stinson bay, i get a lot of correspondence from my friends athe beach and they say they have just never seen it this clear. clearing in the forecast for tomorrow in the concord area and it's going to be just a little bit warmer than it was today. could get close to 80 degrees tomorrow. that's concord's forecast for tomorrow, 69 at lunchtime. a nice day, the average temperature for concord in late july -- no, we expect upper 80s. we will warm up gradually after tomorrow. where we will start to see a couple more 90s popping up but not widespread. there will be fog back at the coast tonight. there might be a little clearing tomorrow. but this cool and mild weather pattern is with us over the weekend. this is what we usually have over the month. this is what we have now and this is what we have over the week end. it'll get a little warmer. but the basic pattern is a low fog pattern. clearing out there at the beaches, all the forecast for your neighborhood and that five day forecast back here, see you in a bit. >> thank you, bill. >>> former oakland

it's there, we do have clearing at stinson beach. we do have some clearing at the boardwalk.he fog is going to be in the game, all week, all weekend. and we're going to see it all weekend too with the gradual warming trend. saturday, 83 in fairfield, 68 in richmond. you have 83 in danville, 85 in livermore. these are not major heat events. i would expect livermore to be 95 degrees this time of year. climbtology would have it in the low 90s i would imagine. i haven't looked specifically in livermore but it's probably 92 degrees. here's the upshot. we just showed you the big fire. that is typically one of our big stories this time of year in the heart of fire season. we're not talking about a lot of fires so that's great news. i know my friend working all over, friends who work at the fire department are very happy about this weather pattern in the air quality district, we haven't had red flag warnings. it has been an unusual summer. >> sure has,thank you bill. >>> a san francisco homeless man says his life has changed. >> i kind of feel like an athlete. like a real athlete. >>

stinson beach is right about here. we have fog shooting into the bay as we head into the albany area. and into the ballpark and bay bridge, south of market all of this area is clear but within the next hour, fog is coming in. it'll be into the bay area neighborhood late tonight, early tomorrow morning. here is how it breaks down. we put together a couple of computer models for you. here's 3:00 p.m. tomorrow afternoon. big influx of fog, when you wake up tomorrow there's fog in almost all bay area counties. then it's back to the coast. tomorrow afternoon, that's wednesday afternoon. kinds of like it was today in terms of burn off. but we have a lot of coverage in the morning. that sets your tone for the day. that means temperatures will be a little cool. lots of fog and low clouds, we can expect temperatures to be a few degrees cooler in many bay area locations then it warms up a little bit. but the basic trend this week will be mild to warm inland. fog along the coast and temperatures slightly below the average in some
