a daring rescue following a crash near stinson beach.. c-h-p officers say a van somehow >>> a daring raft rescue following the crash near stinson beach. chp officers say a van somehow lost control, the driver of that van crashing about 250 feet down a ravine yesterday. there were three men in that van. two of them were able to climb up to the road and nag down help. chp helicopter was able to pull the driver eventually to safety. no one was seriously injured. officers are not sure what caused the driver of that van to actually lose control. >>> happening today, president obama travels to baton rouge, louisiana, to get a firsthand look at the damage caused by historic flooding. 13 people were killed and more than 60,000 homes damaged. local newspapers urge the president to cut his summer vacation short and pay a visit to the region. the white house is pushing back. >> tell you what the president is focused on is the response on the ground and people whose lives in louisiana has been turned upside-down by this terrible flooding event. >>> t
