live from post 9 of the new york stock exchange. take a look at stocks after a down week.ged in the s&p 500. nasdaq is firmer, again, in the last week. we had a pretty broad big selloff, especially in the nasdaq. technology is lower as in sector, industrials, health care, real estate, they're all weaker. consumer discretionary starts off in the green for the week. tesla is up another 7%. some of the restaurant stocks is as well bouncing back. consumer staple, maybe because rfk was pictured with a mcdonald's. consumer staples, communication services all higher in this morning's trade. take a look at how >> again, the trend has been higher treasury yields and that continues today. we're bumping up against that 4.5 level on the 10-year. 4.461 is where we are now. the two year higher at 4.23%. here are some movers we're watching. i mentioned tesla. shares getting another pop on reports president-elect trump's transition team wants to relax rules on self-driving vehicles in the u.s. but uber shares are dropping. nvidia under pressure after a report in the information said the c

and on the economy side, we've seen this took somebody or any group collapsing on the stock exchanges as we talk the, the, the price of various stock. so do you know, any group of collapse by, by uh, proportions reading from a little over 7 percent to over 20 percent, 22 percent. these are some of the indications that what does happen in the united states is big. and a lot of people don't realize that in the us you have a low, you have an adults go to foreign corrupt practices. and mr. adoni has me the cues or misleading, not just investors in india, but investors in the united states where this company stops. and, and various other financial instruments are available. so and because president has laid down his government's plans to the new parliament one week off the elections president, a new world come or is this in your keys left his coalition to cheese. alonzo, i'm victory. last week. he says the government will focus on manufacturing services and pulse to help kick felt the economy thoughts. he also made clear it was addressed the needs of the forest and most vulnerable people.

we go to bob pisani at the new york stock exchange. >> tyler, not much reaction there from the stock exchange because it is unchanged from where it was 10 minutes sor ago, and with good reason. the growth is decent here, and the economic activity is expanding at a solid pace, and inflation has made progress toward the committee 2% objective and not far from where it was at the last meeting here. i think that the problem is that for this press conference, nobody down here believes it is going to be about inflation or the trajectory of growth, and everyone down here believes it is going to be about tariffs and tax cuts and if powell is going to stay on if trump wants him to leave. and the fact is that he has always said that i am happy with my job and i plan to stay on until the end, and he has stuck to the trajectory of economic data and avoided having theoretical discussions about anything with tariffs, but the fed's mandate is to address monetary concerns, and the fact that tariffs could be infl infla inflationary, and that could affect the fed's growth trajectory, and so it is a leg
