take a look at it on storm team 4 radar. d.c. metro area. light rain showers now coming from east to west. they're coming off the western side of the bay. the bay is dry. the western shore communities are dry. you don't have to go too far inland. extra heating from the land gives the extra lift. that's what generates these rain showers. upper marlboro, little drizzle there. central and southern prince george's county. farther out to the west, prince county, faulkner county. this won't add up to much. you can see how really sparse the rain chances are. better chance coming in later today with the daytime heating into the shenandoah valley and this little area of disturbed weather may be able to generate a better chance of rain for southern maryland. in and around the metro, it will be drizzle drops at the most. future weather forecast is handling it now. doesn't pick up on the drizzle all that well. you can see hit or miss shower chances through 2:00. after 3:00 or 4:00, these shower and thundershower chances in the mountains get a little mor
