so take a look at stormranger right now. we are seeing quite a bit of that rain moving right through san francisco and over toward the east bay, and we've seen the rain in the north bay for a few hours. but it is getting a little bit lighter there. we're zooming into the spots that are getting the heaviest rain, right there on the bay bridge, and also as you're moving into the spots like oakland and over toward emeryville and berkeley. that's where the heaviest rain is pouring right now. we just had heavy rain in walnut creek. now that's moving around toward mount diablo and we'll see it move into the delta in the next few minutes. overall, the storm system is moving through fairly quickly and we're also going to see eventually some dryer weather for the afternoon. but it won't completely clear out. take a look at our hour-by-hour forecast, at 7:00 still showing rain over the same areas where we're seeing it right now. that lasts another couple of hours. and not much of the rain for the south bay. so really at times we're ju

as we take a look at stormranger, we have san bruno mountain to give us a look at oracle park. we can see as of now there is not any measurable rain but that mist that makes it feel a little bit cooler as well as the clouds that are going to be really hard to shake today. so, as we go into the afternoon, what we're expecting is for the conditions to turn a little bit dryer, but it's stim going to be damp out there. the winds gusting at 15 to 20 miles per hour. then as we go into the afternoon, we're staying in the 50s, so you want to make sure you're wearing lots of layers because even though the rain may stop falling it's still going to feel very chilly out there. and we'll be watching of course a warm-up in our forecast just in time for the weekend. i'll have more on that in a few minutes. marcus? >> thanks, kari. >>> happening now for you, san jose firefighters are responding to a fire. nbc bay area's skyranger live overhead. this is near southbound 880 and coleman avenue. we're being told a bunker or tunnel system that was presumably inhabitated by an unhoused person caught
