stormtracker 6 live double scan the storms cleared but we have thunderstorms over chester county that just have been sitting there moving very slowly. heaviest right now is right to the west of chadds ford crossing route 1 the past 15 minute we've had 6 lightning strikes associated with this not a lot of lightning but problem is it's dropping a lot of rain 2 to 3" of rain in central chester county and you can see how it's really not moving very quickly it's drifting southeast. if it stays together wilmington will get the storm within the next hour. so the national weather service has issued flash flood warnings for central chester county this include exton. west chester, coatsville and honeybrook. when you get 2 to 3" of time in a short period of time the streams and sceekz cannot handle the water. if you live near a water way be prepared. especially daink us since it is happening late at night. flash flood warning continues until 1:45. we have a nrosh flood watch new castle county and flash flood watches for the shore are cancelled and however the problem is we have stationary front

lets begin with cecily with the latest from stormtracker 6 live double scan. >> hi, we did just get newnformation from the national hurricane center, tropical storm arthur has now strengthened. maximum sustained 50 miles per hour and east-southeast of cape canaveral. it's moving at 2 miles per hour. lets show you the radar, we see the outer bands of arthur hitting the florida coastline and some buoy reports show that the winds are justing to 29 miles per hour and the water temperature is 82 degrees, warm water and it's moving into the gulf stream that is even warmer, i'm pretty sure that arthur will become a hurricane as we head towards the 4th of july. there is not one computer model that shows it moving over the delaware and jersey shore, they are all generally 850 miles off the coast of atlantic city, some of them even farther, rip currents are the main threat locally. if you plan ongoing to the outer banks and virginia beach for the 4th of july weekend, i would rethink the plans, locally the main concern is rip currents, those are concerns for folks heading to the beach. right now t
