my opposition to this lombard street location is based on my experience as a past pet store owner and as a small local manufacturer, i opened my shop on union in october, 2009 and my sales increased until pet food express opened in 2011, it hurt my sales and contributed to my decision to close my retail business. when i had the choice of whether to renew my lease or not on union, i knew pet food express could come in on lombard and i could not afford the financial risk stays open knowing they could possibly open up another location close to my stores. stores on union and lombard will close if pet food express opens on lombard. if you open other pet food stores, you will contribute to the demise of the independent pet store ins the city and the demise of other businesses like my manufacturing company. the city must realize by now the domino effect of the closing of independent pet stores in san francisco's neighborhood, end of letter. this is a current one mile radius map of the five independent pet stores in which chingu used to be the sixth store but since no longer since pet food ex

and 4 on 8th street. the board of appeals at that time accepted the removal of the trees. as we've gone through the construction process, we've come back learning that there are some issues on 8th street that did not allow for the trees to be planted. what we have now is we are actually planting 7 of the trees. there is 3 of the trees that we are requesting not to plant because we could not fit them on 8th street. the first tree and we can see the 7 that we have on mission street that we are planting and then you can see the original four that we had on 8th street that we are talking about removing. one we were able to remove over to mission street and over here at the corner one of the trees, we'll start with that one, we can't plant because that side was too close to the intersection. that one has been removed. ideally we would have liked to move it up but there is a second issue. as part of this process there is a large pg & e fault underneath the building which has access fault and pg & e has told us

i live at 301 mission street. think the project sponsor referred to me as one of the millennium people. i'm not sure what that means, but i'm -- that's the best -- my home, my neighborhood. and i think this is an outrageously glamorous building. have you seen the computer generated animation bubble wall, grand staircase video that kill roy has on their website? it is gorgeous. anyone would want to be a neighbor of that building. i do find it peculiar, though, that all of the renderings on that site, including the animation, depict mission as though it has already been approved for the increase and over a hundred feet for a grand total of 455. i think i saw a picture that stated that the top of the buildings was 375 feet, and i'm not sure all the documentation i have from you states 350 feet on the approved project. forgive me if i'm distorting that in some way. and i understand that the planning department's plan for our neighborhood contemplates mixed residential, commercial, and office use which is terrific, anc
