the other parts have sun. depending where you are watching from you'll likely see a little bit of all of it. most of the snow associated with the a quick moving clipper system moving across the northern tier of the great lakes. we are on the bottom edge. most of the snow moves across the area much of the day not making it to the ground. temperatures have gotten up to 40 degrees. where some is making it to the ground we are seeing a mix of snow and light rain. 40 degrees around the beltway. you have to go north in baltimore county out towards frederick, washington county and carroll county will see some of it. 40 degrees is not going to sustain snow showers. this is what the satellite and radar looks like through the afternoon. some of the snow making it to the ground surprising many. we seen some here on television hill. it is starting to dissipate. we'll watch it through the evening and see if we'll see anymore of it before it makes its way out of here. we'll have your updated forecast coming up. >> thank you

the sun coming up 7:19.er our chance of showers come sunday into monday, it looks like, once again, back to high pressure and dry weather. so with this high pressure overhead, the pollutants send some of the soot from the fireplaces and wood being burned pressing down toward the surface. we are looking at inland east bay quality taking a hit, as well as the north bay. keep that in mind and try not to burn the next 24 hours. it is illegal to do so. high pressure, it is heading toward the east it is allowing for the weak trough. and an area of low pressure to slide down the coast. that will bring increasing clouds, slightly cooler temperatures and we will see a switch to an on shore flow. that means the sea breeze keeping numbers pretty much in the 50s. enjoy the sun we get today because after that tomorrow looks to be a cloudy afternoon. and some showers. you will see them off the coast and they want to sneak into the north bay, the peninsula and perhaps even into oakland and hayward throughout the afternoon
