susie steimle is with us following the breaking development the. >> good morning, kathryn. we know one person is dead and 30 others are injured on this accident on the strip in las vegas. they say she did this intentionally. there is still traffic on the lag very as strip, start parts of it shut down as they try to figure out what happen. it happened around 6:00 last night, police are saying that a woman in her 20s came barreling down the sidewalk and struck dozens of pedestrians. she went off the road two or three times, all of this with a three-year-old child in the back seat of her car. the driver and child are okay, said for some of the victims. onlookers say multiple people tried to stop her. >> the windshield was smashed, she road the sidewalk, she came to a stop at the paris intersection and then she like people were punching the window trying to get the child out of the back seat. she accelerated again and kept mowing everybody down. >> this woman is being held while charges are pending. right now they are testing her blood for drugs an alcohol. live in the satellit
