this involving young ladies who are suing their former employer, sutton place restaurant and bar forhat they call sexual harassment and discnnination. they claim that the managers forceally weighed the female employees and posted the results on the internet so these women are saying, a, that's not right. we were harassed, and then to make that information public, so apparently, the court has taken this case. they have agreed to take on this case. how do you see it playing out? >> they didn't orne. it took a five-judge appellate panel to reverse it. these are mere allegations right nu. we have dealt with cases like this before. what is it with people who own restaurants and bars, the men, that they feel like they have to weigh women. what's that about? the sutton bar owners claim there was a weighing issue in here, but they were kidding about the whole thing. i kind of like this case, and again, you think they're weighing the men? they did, a 400-pound guy there, but why weigh the women? they're waitresses. >> and how many employers -- how many employers have a scale that nearby? when

and joining us is the national parks service historian, the chief historian, robert sutton. thanks for being here. >> thank you for inviting me. >> what brings you to this meeting other than it's a gathering of historians? historians? >> well, it's a gathering of historia historians, but we do a lot of work with the association of historians. a number do studies for us, help us with our interpretation of parks, so we've had a long and beneficial partnership with the organization. . >> and you're participating on a couple of decisions here on native americans and also the civil war. what was the focus on the first one on native americans? it's very interesting. we have a number of parks. that deal with native american history. and we have the number of parks that the main focus is not native american history, but there are amazing stories. for example, key ridge battlefield in the civil war. it was established as a civil war battlefield. for years and years and years, we've told the story of the battle that took place there. >> that is in what state? that is in the corner of

we did reach out to the restaurant, sutton place restaurant and bar.respond, their attorney joseph malin said this. at this point, all we have are allegations made by the plaintiffs. when it comes to trial, they will have to prove those allegations. what will it take to prove those allegations, richard? >> well, he's right number one. that's all these are are allegations. avery is right. the initial trial judge dismissed the case. they had to take appeal. i'm sure the restaurant felt good when it was dismissed. the appellate court said, no, it has merit. the grounds for dismissal, the weight, they came in late and violated certain rules. the appellate division commented on that saying they didn't believe any of that. so that is going to permeate through the case. this restaurant is in a little bit of hot water right now. i think it's best for the restaurant if they would sit down and make a deal here. they are not going to get $15 million but they could get hammered bay jury in this case. >> we'll talk about it again. gentlemen, good to see you. thanks

it is a two and three-story condominium apartment complex called sutton ridge.ill place just off north village road about. 100 people in 54 apartments had to be evacuated. many of those people likely sleeping at the time. when firefighters arrived, they say at least two of the condos were fully engulfed and as the fire spread quickly through the roof, it took about 80 to 100 firefighters to get this under control. one woman told me that the smoke smell woke her up and that she escaped just feet away from the flames. >> i went down stairs and as soon as i went down stairs, i saw the living room t looked like it was smoke. i looked -- it looked like it was smoke. i looked out the front window. i saw blazes. i ran upstairs to get my mom. >> reporter: everyone did get out safely. there was one woman treated for some minor injuries on the scene here just some smoke inhalation. at this point, firefighters do not know what caused this fire. they do tell us that there were three teenagers on skateboards who happened to see the fire and went door to door knocking, tellin
