wmur's suzanne roantree joins us live to explain how the victim escaped. suzanne? reporter: gilford police say that on early saturday morning a woman entered the police station saying that she had been held against her will and at gunpoint. police say the woman said that hand cuffed and chained her to the floor of a home they once shared, and threatened her with a handgun. the woman told police she was able to get away after she convinced holiday to release her and give her the gun. that gave her enough time to get out of the home into a vehicle and drive to the police station. once inside she was put into a safe room, not knowing if holiday was following her. police went into the residence and found evidence squint with the -- consistent with the woman's allegations. he was arrested and has a lengthy criminal history states. >> very courageous victim in this case, she did the right things and that brought a peaceful resolution to this. reporter: now, holiday was arraigned today, and is being held on $100,000 cash bail. live in gilford, suzanne roantree, wmur news
