the air-quality is awful and especially up toward tahoe and truckee in the visibility at the tahoe airport is 1 3/4 mile . that smoke drifting over the sierra, reno, tahoe and truckee. it is unhealthy air quality with humidity low. the fire is creating its own weather parameter and 48,000 acres have been burned with 29 structures destroyed and 1500 structures in the line of being damaged or destroyed. we have a good fog bank with tropical clouds inching closer but backing off completely as this pattern changes with the pacific northwest pattern ushered in that is cooler. the fog is trying and you can see a dip in the jet stream ushering in a cooler pattern, and palo alto at 55 and berkeley at 56. american canyon at 57, 60s for pittsburgh mac and brentwood and 54 in moraga with blackhawk at 53. west southwest and vacaville and fairfield stronger than yesterday with cooler temperatures and cloud cover but not is active down toward arizona, southern california and las vegas which had a lot of thunderstorm activity yesterday. for us 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s which is typical this time of the year.

upper 70s and 80s in lake tahoe.ing there will be plenty of people enjoying lake tahoe. maybe you're heading out to santa cruz. well, santa cruz is expecting to see more of that cloud cover and it will stay that way for the next couple of hours, unfortunately, because of that marine layer. at least temperatures will be quite comfortable in the mid to upper 60s and your day planner today for san francisco, we've caught a little bit of that patchy drizzle the past couple of days and then we'll keep that marine layer at least until 12 chock clock, 12:30 when it starts to burn off making way for 68 degrees and most ly sunn conditions by about 2:00 p.m. by 6:00 we start to cool off and we also begin to see more of those clouds clearing off and it'll become a very sunny and also a bit of a breezy day as well. by 10:00 we start seeing an increase in the cloud cover again but it will stay clear until the overnight hours and the next several days changes on the way. we'll keep that patchy fog in the forecast. as we head into
