lake tahoe, well, we talked about winter weather advisory, and more snow coming down.can they get much more? they've already broke the record for february and high-elevation snow on the way for the middle of the week. so clouds with just a few light showers. it will be dry to start the workweek tomorrow. heavy rain arrives tuesday night into wednesday, but today's system is a one on our storm impact scale with scattered light showers. look for less than 0.2. and by the afternoon, we will be tapering off to partly cloudy skies. so, the activity mainly is to the east of us, but you can see to the north of us, from cloverdale, santa rosa, can't rule out a few showers, even along the coast. this is 4:30. we do have a lot of clouds. maybe some hazy sunshine from time to time. and then 11:00 tonight, notice we are looking at mostly cloudy skies. so, rainfall amounts, they are right on track here with this model, anywhere from a couple hundredths to a tenth on the coast, but we have a couple models we look at, and those are not totally certain for what we're going to see tues

people who live in tahoe are having a hard time digging out of all the snow hitting the area. and more is on the way. why they say they don't mind the inconvenience. (grant) plus-- a woman seen wandering naked on a freeway. and it was caught by passing drivers. we'll tell you what she was doing. an unexpected sight along a florida interstate. a man was seen carrying a dog across the freeway... with a naked woman beside him. it happened just north of daytona beach -- a red car comes within a couple of feet then a pickup comes very close.and just after she crosses... a semi barrels by. the man taking the video says the two went across all six lanes of the highway to catch that dog, which possibly had escaped from their car. he says they made it safely back to their car and drove away. (grant) police are looking for a man in atlanta-- who randomly fired a gun at an apartment complex. he got out of his car-- and just started shooting. did this two days in a row. this apartment complex is right across the street from an elementary school. nobody was hurt in either shooting but the

a lot of people also thinking about heading to lake tahoe this weekend. be mindful, we are tracking a couple of snow showers today. so check those road conditions. temperatures will be at 49 degrees. into sunday, things will kind of taper off a bit. they'll calm down. check out monday. we're tracking an additional storm system, expected to bring a lot of snow for the sierra. monday will be the worst travel day into tuesday, wednesday, and even thursday. if you had plans to drive back early monday morning, leave sunday night instead. how much snow are we expecting? for this initial system, already seeing some snow showers. 2 to 3 inches. check out what happens once we move into tuesday, wednesday, thursday. right now the models are showing a lot of snow. over 20 inches in some areas. that means a couple of feet. that will have a big impact on our high snow impact totals. by 1:30, nice clearing out there. then we stay pretty clear all of saturday. into sunday we do get some cloud cover that rolls in. sunday, it's going to be dry. you don't have to worry abo
