increasing, there are the blizzard warnings that include the western part of the bay, kent island and talbot county. with the intensity of the snow, look at the doppler. those are the areas with dark green while there may be sleet mixed in briefly in the next couple of hours, the cold air is going to continue to come in spots like shady side. you can see intense bands moving through the washington area. these are the te of bands we've been talking about as they come through at the height of the storm. as a matter of fact, right into tomorrow morning, can produce one to as much as two inches of snow an hour. unfortunately, look at our temperatures. still at 33 degrees, meaning with the strong winds, this is a very wet snow and that's leading to the power outages. temperatures in winchester, 31 degrees. the temperatures will fall eventually, but unfortunately, we are going to be still several hours into this wet snow. we'll see blowing and drifting. >> dave baker, hardy county, west virginia said it is snowing hard and the wind is blowing hard. he's got 14 inches on the ground right now. six i

baltimore city and over to the eastern shore including kent, queen ann's talbot and caroline county winds over 40 miles per hour gusts pushing 60 miles per hour winds along the coast in ocean city and delaware. this is truly a monster storm. yes, we're going to end up with less snow than last storm but it's still a respectable snowstorm and it's going to be a harder-hitting snowstorm because of the fact that we have the stronger winds and the ice is more widespread. 28degrees now. our visibility cut down to a quarter of mile in glen burnie looking around anne arundel highway. because of that very easy to say they've gone back over to snow but there's a layer of ice underneath that. adjusting our temperatures to 27 in annapolis. 28 in edgemere. 29 in lutherville. bel-air, aberdeen. we thought you would get close to the mix. staple story up towards elkton. it will go back to snow but that adds to more problems. centreville at 33. rain on the eastern shore. that will go back to snow so you will have a thick layer of ice. you will have stronger winds and also big problems this afternoon. wind
