good morning. >> reporter: good morning, tam.l early on in this investigation so we are waiting for police to release more details but we have been told that temple university student was sexually assaulted and robbed on this street here overnight. you can see police have cleared the scene but they were out here earlier after she called them. this happened on the 1400 block of north carlisle in north philadelphia, just south of campus, a block from broad street. this is just outside the patrol area for temple police. what exactly happened remains under investigation. we just know the victim is a temple student and that police say the suspect was armed when he sexually assaulted and robbed her. she managed to call philadelphia police who immediately notified the special victims unit. they're handling this investigation. temple did put out a text alert and alerts on social media. police have not disclosed the victim's age or the condition that she's in or said what was taken from her. again, this is still early in this investigatio
