meteorologist mark tamayo is here. >> temperatures are dropping down into the lower 30s. some light showers showing up offshore. we will remain dry for tonight and also cold and here's a look at some current numbers. livermore pretty much at 40 degrees. here's the plan tonight for your bay area forecast, more clouds and temperatures on the cool side. we showed you a little bit of activity offshore. the weekend will be a dry pattern. the first thing tomorrow morning, overnight lows in the 40s. san jose in the mid-30s at 35 degrees. a lot of activity in the mid- pacific. a lot of this energy is splitting and this will not be a significant storm for the bay area but will impact our forecast for tomorrow. northbay showers and a chance elsewhere. the rainfall expectations are only a few hundredths of an inch. i would be surprised if we pick up a quarter of an inch. at least for tomorrow morning here is our rainfall forecast model. the highest chance in the northbay. not a lot by late morning into the afternoon hours. by late afternoon rebound of the shower chances once again e
