it's an incident that has witness still shaken up. 9news reporter tarhonda thomas is here with more. tarhonda-- the details are disturbing. father intentionally crashed his car... ...and neighbors say-- that he hit his injured two-year- old son... ...it's hard to imagine. but police maintain-- that's what happened. the crash was last sunday afternoon in centennial. 29-year-old nathan weitzel told police-- he crashed his car "on purpose"--- to kill his son. he didn't "buckle up" two-year-old isiah. and-- police think-- he was driving up to 75 miles per hour-- when he crashed into several cars. an officer says-- weitzel told them he wanted to kill his son... because to raise a child. he admitted to taking cocaine that day, too. little isiah survived the crash. half of his body is in a cast, right now. his mother-- who isn't married ot weitzel-- can't believe he'd try to do such a thing. witnesses to the crash can't believe it either. they also couldn't believe what weitzel apparently did to his son-- after crashing his car. several charges-- including attempted first- degree murder. isi
