and we could see the tarmac down below us. so we were coming down sharp.hrough the landing, the engine was off. woo! like you sped up? like he knew he was short, and then boom! the back end just hits and flies up in the air. and everybody's head goes up to the ceiling. and then it drifts for a good 300 yards, tips over, the fire starts, everybody is pushing the doors out. and once we're on the ground and pound, everybody was huddled on -- on the ground, everybody was huddled on one side. and 20 minutes later, this lady just appears from 20 yards away! just crippled and walking! and we saw her running over, and there were another 5 bodies. so we were over there calling the ambulances and stuff. but they took 20, 30 minutes to get there! we were just yelling at people, get over here, get over here! and they were just lacking hard. we were not very impressed with the whole protocol and systems in place for this type of thing. >> where were you sitting on the plane? >> we were really fortunate. we were central. so my girlfriend, her sister, and two others of m

, a delta flight to cincinnati was evacuated last night after a tug crashed into the plane on the tarmac. the pilots got out to inspect the damage and evacuated the passengers. delta put passengers on another plane that arrived safely in cincinnati at 6:00 this morning. >> the report is out on the broken bolts on the span of the bay bridge and we are learning why the bolts broke and who is to blame. katie marzullo is in oakland outside the meeting of the toll bridge program oversite committee. katie? >> i just stepped out of the meeting with the toll authority being briefed on the problem bolts. the executive director is saying there is plenty of blame to pass around between the owner, which is caltran, the designer, and the contractor, too, pointing out a few things so far. one, the wrong bolts were picked for this highly specialized unique bridge, or at least if certain points on the bridge.

and you can see, again, the ambulance is going out towards the tarmac there. emergency vehicles going out towards the tarmac, and you heard from mary schiavo who is formerly with the faa saying, again, that they're going to have recordings that will help them out with this particular situation. i am counting ten emergency vehicles so far at least going out there, ten ambulances, plus other vehicles including fire trucks, hook and ladder and i'm sure all of the resources there in san francisco are available and they are on top of it. this is their number one priority. again, this is a big story happening here in the united states, but this flight originated in seoul, south korea, as we look at the burnt-out wreckage of this airplane we want to tell you, again, we don't know how many people were on board this plane and if there are any injuries. we are working to get that information for you. but they are sending emergency vehicles onto the runway here and we're not exactly sure what is going on at this, you know, moments after this crash happened when it appear
