the teamsters union has agreed to a three year contract. t covers 1100 skilled trades employees across all but one of the csu's 23 campuses. the agreement must be ratified by union members before it goes to the csu board of trustees for approval. in march, the teamsters intend to call off a five day strike planned for next week. more details are expected from both sides in the coming days. san francisco mayor london breed won't be signing the ceasefire resolution for the israel-hamas war. mayor breed says she's grappled with the request from the board of supervisors for ten days now. she also mentioned she spoke with friends and faith leaders on both sides, and prayed for clarity in a statement, she said in part, quote, when we advocate for people thousands of miles away, we should still care for people who are right here in san francisco, the people who are in pain and afraid. we are all san franciscans. we don't close people off. we open our arms and our minds. we must get through this together. well, happening today, tens of thousands of
