the thing about telegram is that it's so easy to use that even low tech iranians are on there so from my own personal experience i'm in touch with older generations that are on there and they're sharing information and they're actively were taking in the political discourse that's going on online. and how important a role has telegram played in communication between people obviously and in chatting but also in the exchange of ideas and the dissemination of information and and politics so the future is that telegram has has made it much easier for people to upload videos and content so in that way there's a lot of information being spread about that and you know that is sometimes even pro regime and not from hardline factions you know from propagating their own narratives. but i think it's too early to kind of say that telegram is really mobilizing people i think that's something we need to talk about retrospect at least but definitely what we can tell from the facts is that the government is really sensitive on this because telegram has been untouched in terms of hasn't been censored
