you still hear all the noise from all the bars. all the music from bars. i support you guys to have a more of a gallery, support more of artists and support more of the local assistance but don't support any hours after 5 or 6 with the bar next to our door to the residents. i think that is so wrong. thank you so much. jerk >> my name is norman chung, the owner and resident at 690 market street. about this bar, my biggest concern is the security because i do come home late at night often times by myself and the bar is right next to the garage door and anybody can walk in because the gate will not close unless the car goes in for about 30 seconds. at that time there is no one in the garage working to protect us. if there is any stranger walking at that time, simply because they are hanging out at the bar, that is my biggest concern. the noise is another unknown because all i'm hearing from the previous speakers is about there is no noise issue, guess what? they work during the office hours. they don't know what it feels like at night, 2 a.m. regarding the art

say that happened and it was a patron the bar. there were a couple calls for crazy people but that is in this city that is the norm. there is one thing i do have to say though, i understand mr. quinby's part about doing business, but this is not broadway. this is a 3600 block of taraval street. by 10 o'clock at night on a monday, tuesday, wednesday or thursday, it is quiet. in no way do we want to say you can't run your business but i have to say being born and raised in that neighborhood the sidewalks were up at 9 at night. it is quite out there. the only thing i can say is that there is a lot of new proposed businesses on that block. there is a proposed bar that will be opening across the street from the riptide with no music, it is just a regular bar, but there is a restaurant and a few other things so there is more action going on out there which we understand. our recommendation was what it is. >> great. thank you for the explanation. we have any questions? >> just one comment. the entertainment commission was formed our inspe
