the south bay and the east bay. around 6260,000 customers without power is just an enormous number in the bay area. the majority of folks. and we'll zoom in here in the south bay where close to 130,000 customers in the south bay, a loner in the dark tonight here, the areas hardest hit. this is a southwest san jose campbell cupertino, sunnyvale, south toes. you know, the right here means at least 5,000 customers are without at the orange is the second worst. that's 500 to 5,000 customers. so you can see the areas that are real trouble spots next. biggest problem areas would be the east bay where you have close to 70,000 customers without power. not too good in the pleasanton area, but even worse here. just east of pleasant hill, south of concord. you know, cejka so many people live in these densely populated neighborhoods and then there's this, the berkeley hills, the hills above albany, elsa you know, just crushed tonight by those outages and after the east bay, the peninsula is the next biggest problem area. more than 50,000 customers using flashligts tonight on the peninsula of millbrae here, san

the gustiest winds are right over the bay area. but the difference is this storm system isn't quite as strong. i don't think that it will be as high of an impact especially the number of power outages that will be possible. there will be some, but we will stay below the hundreds of thousands that we had last week. showers still likely on wednesday. a look at futurecast with the rain spreading in before the sun even comes up tomorrow morning. so it will be a soggy morning commute. the gusty winds are going to kick in and for most of rush hour as well. some 20 to 30 miles an hour gust and some of the strongest gusts, more on that in a second. but the heaviest rain isn't going to last all day. largely it lifts off to the north and it should give us a bit of a break by late morning. still off and on showers will be possible the rest of the day and the strong storms will have some heavy downpours, but they won't linger in any one spot to cause any significant additional flooding threat. if we're going to get flooding, it will be a flood
