a lot of folks diverting into the bay bridge. last five minutes kari has seen all these lanes fill in at the bay bridge toll plaza. we have your commute back again. over to you. >> all right. it's getting busy out there. let's get a look at what it looks like from above as we once again take the live look outside and checking out those clouds extending inland. those clouds are what has kept the bay area cool and it does continue today. take a look at these temperatures reaching 76 for a high. in milpitas today, it's going to be warm in the south county with morgan hill reaching 85 degrees and upper 80s for spots like antioch, livermore, much more comfortable with a high of 83 degrees. danville reaching 81 and some upper 60s in oakland today and it's going to stay cool and foggy in half moon bay. only reaching 60 but a lot of sunshine, palo alto looking at a high of 76. mostly mid 60s in san francisco especially in the downtown mission district areas. and clearlake heating up to 94 degrees, but it's not going to be that hot in napa

taking a live look at the bay bridge toll plaza, bay bridges are pretty quiet. s, an easy ride out of the east bay as you head into the city. metering lights are off. no delays into san francisco. golden gate bridge is looking good. we saw a little bit congestion earlier as they did those lane changes allowing more lanes south for the commute things are back at the limit with no delays and san mateo bridge is clear. between 880 and 101, give yourself 12 to 13 minutes to make the trek west towards 101, no delays along peninsula and 880 oakland clear right now as well. more changes are coming to muni with low ridership and social distancing. the pandemic hit the public transit system financially hard. but it allowed them to take a step back and see how they can improve the system going forward. i spoke with the transportation director who says they've made radical changes. >> we will have built 20 new miles of transit only lanes during covid. on main nes, and ch to what we call headway management. our bus drivers now, they space themselves between the bus in front

let's head to the bay bridge ar spot. we have a crash involving a big rig and a pickup truck. no word if injuries are involved but chp is on scene. it's just past the toll plaza at the bay bridge. near metering lights you will see some brake lights. it is friday so there is less volume anyway which is helping this but travel time, about 12 minutes. it gets better past that point and we are not seeing back up extending at least to the pay gates. it is okay if you are headed into the city but you will see brake lights as you pass that accident, blocking at least one lane. san mateo bridge, 12 minutes 880 to 101. but you have options. san mateo bridge is friday light, looking good with no delays. you might find busy conditions 92 from the san mateo bridge all the way to half moon bay. checking traffic through altamont pass, we had an early crash out there for quite sometime. it's cleared out of lanes but really caused a big back up especially for a friday as you come out of tracy onto 580. travel times, about 50 minutes from 205 towards 680. headed towards golden gate bridge, traf
