welcome back to the daily run down. carry that for you live and traffic willing in this fair city, chuck todd will be there. on our radar this morning, the obama administration is releasing simplified applications. the hope is that the shorter applications will show the president and the administration want to be as flexible as possible. the new forms seen here are shouldered in the industry-size forms for individuals reduced from 21 pages to three and the applications for families are reduced to a third of their original size. they will be released online and will be committed starting october 1st. nbc news learned that the director of national intelligence ordered a review of how intelligence was handled in the boston marathon bombing. female dna was found on one of the bombs. the dna could be from many sources, but they are considering the possibility of it belonging to the widows of one of the bombing suspects. the surviving suspect's remains are in federal prison. they have begun talking about a plea deal where he

this is your tuesday edition of "the daily rundown." it is april 23rd. right to my first reads of the morning. >>> 19-year-old dzhokhar tsarnaev who was shot in the head, neck, leg and hands according to newly released documents, has been officially charged with using a weapon of mass destruction that resulted in three deaths and more than 170 injuries. he's also been charged with malicious destruction of property by means of an explosive device resulting in death. both charges carry the death penalty as a maximum sentence. tsarnaev was read his miranda rights in a brief bedside session in the intensive care unit at boston's beth israel hospital. the appearance began when a magistrate judge asked a doctor whether he was alert saying you can rouse him. according to a transcript of the appearance, tsarnaev nodded for times to questions but spoke just one word. when asked can you afford a lawyer, he answered simply -- no. the government says it has photographic evidence placing tsarnaev and his brother at the scene of the bombings as well as physical evidenc

check out the daily chart for this one. pedia has got the same business model as price line, although they're a smaller company with less international exposure. lately the stock's been pulling back from its all-time highs around 68. now $62.43, roughly six bucks off the highs. but lang has noticed something in the expedia chart i know i haven't seen. over the last couple weeks, a very solid floor of support developing at the $60 level. just two bucks below where the stock is right now. so as long as that floor -- new-found floor holds, he says your downside is very limited. meanwhile, when you look at the moving average convergence/divergence line i mentioned, the mac d indicator, about to flash the same buy signal that we saw with priceline. and then there is the williams percentage r oscillator that we have talked about, bottom of the chart. we mentioned this before. one that was developed by a commodities trader named larry williams. it's another momentum indicator that can measure if a stock is overbought or oversold. t
