the agreement is just all about goodies for the hague in exchange for a nominal reconciliation that has not been implemented well, particularly what might've been elements related to reintegration of the forces. even in its practical details, it has not been a particularly good example. i would also say it is more like what i described as a dangerous agreement for the united states to support, one that just sets up mechanisms, principles and procedures for the future. lots of committees set up but not actually resolving any issues. for that agreement, perhaps made sense in that there were not big issues that could be addressed in a way that would bring peace to afghanistan in a deal with the hague. it was also a little less so in its final version that interim version, i also thought it was an imbalanced agreement from afghan government perspective. predominantly give from the afghan government perspective and very little get other than it had to be run out at the end of the day statement against terrorism which he did not even really enthusiastically make. i do not personally see it as
