that's why the red flag warning goes up and runs until 5:00 p.m. on sunday. it is for lake county, northern california mountains, the sierra, northern sierra including lake tahoe. the lightning strikes combining with the fuel. they haven't got a lot of moisture this past winter, so those things combining with the strong out flow winds could really push the fires quickly if they do develop. that's the danger there. here in the bay area we are talking cooler weather. low to mid80s in the warmest inland valleys. 68 oakland, 63 san francisco. san jose 77 degrees, partly cloudy and up in the north bay, mid70s santa rosa, napa. cooler than average this time of year. around the monterey bay, 71 in santa cruz, 82 in morgan hill. so there is a slight possibility we will be watching the moisture possibly moving into the bay area. the higher terrain. be aware of that. right now we are not putting in the thunderstorm possibility, but it could happen. cooler weekend, mid80s to low 60s coast side. temperatures hillary cover, coming -- will recover coming back to normal. and downright hot inland on thursday, friday.
