the search is over. he was arrested in oakland this past tuesday. oll stand. he was arrested for burglary. ariel castro, the man suspected of kidnapping and raping the man and ohio bond was set at $2 million on each case he was facing. that is a total of four cases for and $8 million bond. police say they have talked with both castro who is a former school bus driver and the three women he held captive allegedly held captive and his home extensively. here is the most recent months that we have of castro. in the conversations with the three women who were held prisoner in the home, they reveale have t revealed too much but say they were kept inside a house for the majority of the 10 years. they were brought out of the house for minutes at a time. amanda barry, jeanette basiand the womh other to survive. one of them was able to make eight daring escape and called 911. we're also hearing that castro forced my shemichelle kni ght to deliver a man that berry's baby and if the baby died and her life was endangered. >> this man flee from officers yesterday

cost the city of oakland $250,000. it cites a lot of deficiencies in basic police work in the city known as the new robbery capital of the united states. oakland's top brass gathered at opd headquarters to talk about the so-called crime reduction project report that criticizes the past and looks toward the future. >> what's happened in this department is that they have been hit by a massive attrition over the last five years and they have been making adjustments along the way. some of them have been that well thought out. >> reporter: among the consultant's findings, crime scene investigators working without direct supervision and are disorganized. the report found problems with the digital photo file system saying it's so slow that officers rarely used it to find robbery suspects. and when officers collect fingerprints from burglary scenes, they rarely compare them to those found at other crime scenes. the same goes for analyzing shell casings. the report says officers are missing possible crime connections. >> when yo
