this is some of the backup near the oakland coliseum. saying between 6 and 6:30 they hope to open all lanes. in the meantime tack on an extra 15 minutes or so to your morning drive. it's improved somewhat here even in just the last few minutes. so they may have just reopened at least one of those lanes two lanes are blocked. or you can just use the alternate. eastbound 580 where everything is in the green and northbound traffic looks okay into san leandro even with a wreck reportedly there maybe on the shoulder. here's a look if you are coming down southbound 101, rohnert park expressway we also have an overturn crash. it sounds like the car rolled off the freeway so we are not seeing any delay on the sensors at all. you can see 65 miles per hour. everything is still really quiet there but if tow crews are needed they may have to block a lane causing a backup. we'll let you know if something changes in that area. here's a live look at the bay bridge. it looks bad but this is better than normal. metering lights were turned on around 5:36

that's where we are seeing delays right now near the oakland coliseum. in the last few minutes we have seen a big improvement because there was overnight roadwork northbound 880 at fruitvale. it was scheduled to wrap up at clock. we are at 6:04 now. our chopper is searching for the roadwork and we haven't spotted anything yet. they wrapped things up. let's go to the camera by the oakland coliseum. 15 minutes ago it was a total bottleneck through here. so right now it's improved approaching high street in the northbound lanes of 880. and the drive time is actually improved as well down in the yellow now. it's up to, let's see, 23 minutes right now between 238 and the maze. and at one point it was pushing past a half-hour. so again in that slot once they reopened lanes i think traffic will quickly recover. but if you want to ride bart everything is on time systemwide in fact no delay. and the san mateo bridge the roadwork should have wrapped up westbound and eastbound here as well so everything is quiet now out of hayward. it's a little bit of a gray start.
