most of the rain is off to our west across the ohio valley. eventually some of that will catch up to us on monday and tuesday. in the short term there is a big area of high pressure blocking all of that from coming in. that should keep us dry even though we have the cloud cover. surface winds have shifted to the west. we have mild air coming in. we'll be in the 70's for the next several days. i'll show you the seven-day forecast in just ate moment. i want to give you an update on the tropics. we introduced you to richard yesterday. the storm is a little stronger this morning. sustained winds of 70 miles per hour. almost a hurricane. north of honduras. it will cross over the yucatan peninsula and into the southern part of mexico by the middle or end of next week. so there could be a tropical storm or a hurricane in the gulf of mexico as we head into next weekend. variable clouds. a mixture of clouds and sun. high temperatures between 70 and 75. average high is 64. not too bad. specifically if you are going to the game this afternoon, against the

rain across the ohio valley this evening, some showers trying to break out in parts of western virginia. what weather is not too far away. the high pressure moves out and the storm track ride across virginia and toward the coast, and then intensified and move up the coast. pockets of moderate to heavy rain indicated by the computer models, and walnut, the storm starts to move offshore and strengthen. it moves up the coast of maine, and that is a little bit of snow forecast to mix into the rain in the adirondacks in the berkshires and upstate new york. this will be cold air wrapping around a storm system on friday as it is pulling away. and we may pick up an additional show were friday afternoon. breezy and dry with sunshine returning for the upcoming weekend. tomorrow it will be cool, high staying in the pit depots. a small craft advisory on the bay tomorrow. milder but wet all the way around the chesapeake, down into southern maryland. milder temperatures, the wind coming in of the ocean for a while. hurricane paulette is still out there, passing by cause the mail. we will see how clos
