that triggered the tsunami that moved across the pacific. nts, the california current, the north equitorial current. that forms one larger current known as a guier. this is a combination of weather patterns and winter patterns as well. this is also known as the great pacific garbage patch. you may have heard of that. that large 20 million square kilometer area of plastic bottles, sludge, all kinds of debris that have just continued to circulate across the north pacific. there are some models off of the tsunami debris coming off the coast of japan moving them over over the following year since the tsunami. it's just amazing what they found. 5 million tons of debris washed into the pacific on that march 11th, 2011, event. they estimated about 70% of that actually will sink to the ocean floor overtime but of course we are now starting to see and continue to see debris that have reached all the way on the west coast of the united states. i'm going to leave you with this particular image because what we're actually noticing here is even floating h
