we have spotty light showers around the philadelphia area. elaware, mostly drying out at this point. but as we go through the rest of the evening, we'll continue to see more improvements. closer look at the philadelphia area, though, just spotty light rain around the major interstates, even up towards parts of bensalem, morristown seeing that rain, right near 2 on 95 there. this is mostly on the lighter side. if you're heading up towards trenton, we have ooh drier spot. we can still see the showers heading that way. through the lehigh valley we have moderate rainfall just now to the north of allentown and through the poconos. that's where we see some heavier rain through parts of carbon county. this is also where we have the threat of localized flooding. flood advisory for these sections until about 9:30. about two inches of rain expected here. so we could see localized street and creek flooding. future weather by #:30, clearing a lot of this out and overnight we'll keep the clouds around, too. wouldn't be surprised if we saw patchy fog. by ea

clinton inside the wells fargo center in south philadelphia last night. now the general public gets a chance to see her and her running mate, tim kaine, as they hold a rally in north philadelphia. nbc 10's andrea cline-thomas is inside that hall where people have already packed the seats, right, aundrea? >> reporter: exactly. people continue to file in. when we arrived, the line spanned about two blocks past the center. there's a very diverse crowd in here. not just ethnically, but crowds are bringing their kids to witness this event. you may remember, it was supposed to take place outside with the historic backdrop of independence hall. it had to be moved to temple because of the threat of bad weather. now, hillary clinton and tim kaine are hoping to capitalize on the buzz they created during the democratic convention. today, their bus tour will go through the state, and then they're off to ohio. this event is supposed to begin at noon. we're going to stay here and bring you all of the highlights. for now, reporting live at temple university, aundrea clin

the more sun you see. temperatures warm this morning in philadelphia 79 degrees. int at 66 which is moderately humid but not as oppressive as it was the last couple of mornings and the winds east-northeast not all that strong at just 5 miles per hour. future tracker6 showing that you any precipitation we do get this morning does appear to be off the map by about eight or 9 o'clock so during that morning rush hour period perhaps a little wet and most of the rain probably south of philadelphia although i can't rule out something popping up closer to home. then we get into the afternoon and the model right now anyway wants to put some additional shower or thunderstorm activity fairly close to philadelphia. now previous runs have suppressed this farther south into places like cape may county and dover delaware and i'll be anxious to see the next model run which comes out a little later this morning. but we have to at least allow for the chance of some of this popping up this afternoon. then by early this evening it looks like it's pretty much gone. again, the best chan
