we have heavy rainfall stretching from the santa cruz mountains through the south bay on into the inland east bay. a little bit quieter across the north bay at this moment, we are seeing the showers generally tracking to the north into the east. so that means a lot of that heavier precipitation that you're seeing in the south bay right now, we'll continue to work its way to the north and east on up into areas like the tri valley, the santa clara valley, and eventually up towards mount diablo. 2. so we've got several more hours here of some heavy rainfall, especially for those inland areas. let's start with the north bay, though. we'll start with the quieter stuff right now. sonoma county or whatever quieter areas, napa and solano counties do have pockets of heavy rainfall, especially down towards the kharkiv as note that snow up in the lake and mendocino county mountains down towards marine county in the peninsula. some pockets of heavy rainfall as well as you can see there. it's a little more spotty in these areas. san jose right now you have the very heaviest of rain stretching up thro

this one really do step really across the santa cruz mountains right now. hter showers heading into the east bay and the north bay has been pretty active this afternoon as well. you can see some of those showers just rolled across santa rosa and heading for petaluma at this hour. we also have a little bit of wind out there. we're going to see the wind pick up as we get into tonight, currently nap about 17 miles per hour, 13 in nevado and oakland. we're going to see a southerly flow and it is going to get going to the tune of us needing to have a wind advisory for coastal areas in particular. so it's 7 o'clock tonight. this wind advisory goes into effect. you can see it's for the north bay coast. also for san francisco, though, by the way, and it heads down the peninsula and then into the santa cruz mountains and it continues to go down to monterey and points south from there. so let's talk about futurecast when we can expect the heavier showers to come in and that take you into about 8 o'clock tonight. notice we will get some breaks out there. but by the tim
