already clearing in parts of san francisco but still stubborn overcast for parts of the shoreline. but already a few breaks in the clouds as well near the head lands and parts of approaching point ray and a few breaks in the clouds near the shoreline as we head into the afternoon hours. a look outside right now looking out toward the bay. here just beautiful with the clouds pulling back to near the golden gate bridge. as far as the temperature pattern, really not a big change from yesterday's high. currently san francisco 60 degrees. fairfield 71. liver more 72 and san jose in the upper 60s at 62. we're sticking with the forecast with cool temperatures for the beaches, warm temperatures inland. pretty much the same pattern this weekend with minor changes in the temperature trend. and then the extended forecast a bit of a bump but no major heat waves inside. keeping all of july cool and at least until the first half of august. we'll stick with this right into the weekend. but the clouds in morning and drizzle and partly to mostly sunny skies in the afternoon hours. in fact that's wha

today, look, the fog does retreat to the shoreline so clouds around half moon bay. t should be a sunny and pleasant afternoon with gusty winds at our coastline but temperatures will be coming up towards the 70s and upper 70s today. barely hit 70 yesterday in some of our valleys. it was 69 livermore and we will still see some cooler numbers at our beaches, around ocean beach today. so the culprit was this area of low pressure that continues to lift to the north and east providing a threat of showers. lower elevation rain, higher elevation snow in the mountains, 8500 feet to about 9,000 feet. so some rough conditions in the mountains as folks are camping there. you don't expect that for the end of august. but as this lifts out and high pressure builds behind it, the breezy winds will follow suit again today. so spending any time at the coast you'll notice that. and look at the mid-50s for highs in lake tahoe. 68 yosemite so very cold here. overnight lows with that strong radiationnal cooling will be in the 20s and 30s. 65 in monterey. cool still there and only 79 in sa

right now not much in the way for warming out there and you can see the clouds and the shoreline. some fog pushing into the bay across san francisco heading out towards oakland. clouds will continue to be a factor later tonight and tomorrow morning. we have this coming out towards san jose already an increase in the fog. san jose is in the upper sixties. not a big change from yesterday. san francisco tops out at 63, livermore 74 and this is the direction we are heading. in wednesday the warmest location we see is in the mid- 90s. this was the weather pattern today. this area of low pressure is moving in from the north and by thursday the high-pressure returns but the inland spots back up into the upper '90s not expecting triple digits but 97 to mac 98 degrees and we will begin to cool things off by friday. here is our forecast model showing you some overcast first thing tomorrow morning near the coast in oakland and temperatures are 48 to mac 55 degrees and in the afternoon hours we increase sunshine and we could have some patchy fog. there is the temperature range. a few neighborh
