so as you can see, we're in the 25 miles an hour range at the shoreline. but in the east bay, concord, the winds are down to 10 miles per hour. so not too bad. temperatures have some have come down, some have gone up. by the way, the colors in these maps actually do represent something. the warmer colors, the numbers have warmed up over the past 24 hours. the bluer colors like out at fairfield, it's not 5 below, it's 5 degrees cooler than it was yesterday at this time. and you can see the correspondingly cooler colors. so you can kind of see this stuff at a glance. in a nutshell, it will be windy, it will be dry, it will be warm. but not in anywhere near record territory with any of this. it's just a little bit dry for the time of the year as the low pressure, and that's what is triggering all that bad weather out on the east coast, which has had a warm spell. but as this cooler air collides with the warmer air up to the north, that's what happens. at the border, you just get this explosive weather. a high and low battle eases for the west coast. and the wi

we'll have pretty gusty winds along the shoreline. onday afternoon, 47 miles per hour gusts, and all through the bay we have pretty good westerly winds. as a result, well, if you take the air conditioner out here and just blow it through the bay area, the numbers come down, and they will. just 60s around the bay. few low 70s inland, but not as warm as today. there's the culprit. low pressure sinking into the pacific northwest. pressure goes down, temperatures follow suit. expect the numbers to be cooler. but then high pressure builds up, significantly warmer by the time we get to tuesday when numbers around the bay area will be in the upper 80s by wednesday. so couple of warm days tuesday and wednesday. not tomorrow. on the futurecast, monday at 8:00 in the morning, here's tomorrow corning. a lot of cloudiness around the south bay and east bay. if you're well inland, you'll be fine. but things clear out as the day goes on, so by 5:30 tomorrow afternoon and evening, perfectly clear skies and they stay that way. we'll roll it on through

tam: we picked this part of the shoreline for a study around design concepts for future sea level rise because it's the lowest lying area on the eastern waterfront. it's the place that's going to flood first, and so we thought it was the right place to spark a conversation around what are design alternatives or choices that we can make in the future at the mouth of mission creek near at&t park. we'll have a really beautiful public space that people might not even realize is designed for flood protection. ideally, we would have wetland habitat and parks and a place where people can access the bay. we want to have a lot of commercial activity in our city. we want more housing. we definitely need more affordable housing to solve some of the bay area's biggest challenges, but alongside that, we have to do something about future sea level rise. ideally, we'll have a lot of people enjoying the waterfront, and during storm events, we'll have some kind of way of protecting people through some kind of barrier or just because we have shallowed the channel in some way that makes it no longer supe
