in san pa blow, thom jensen, nbc bay area news. >>> more violence in oakland. two shootings, first around 9:30 last night north of the coliseum. officers found bullet casings but no victims. a hospital reported two gunshot victims, one in critical condition. investigators say they tied the victims to that shooting. just before 1:00 this morning a similar shooting on telegraph avenue near 19th street. no victims at the scene, but somebody showed up at the hospital. no arrests have been made in either case.

"today in the bay's" thom jensen has the latest on the investigation from san pablo. >> reporter: this is nothing new at this store. it's been robbed before and other businesses have been robbed before in this shopping center store owners tell us they're concerned and would like to see a greater police presence. we tried to talk to the owner, one of his friends who declined to speak to us on camera said the owner told him the thieves broke in through a back door avoiding security cameras and they were in and out within two minutes. a neighboring business owner said the shopping center has been plagued with crime the past few years. >> i am very concerned because we've been hit twice. >> reporter: that business owner would only talk if we didn't show his face or use his real name. he says he's afraid of being targeted by thieves. police say multiple masked suspect armed with guns forced their way in and got away with a large amount of jewelry. it's not a surprise to the business owner that the alleged thieves got in and out so fast. the neighboring business owner says security is light.
