locally we saw flooding in santa cruz, impacts in tiburon and capitola. a question many people had this morning was could this happen again and maybe on a grander scale? the short answer is yes, although experts tell us it is rare to see a tsunami triggered by an underground volcano eruption, compared to a tsunami from an earthquake. there are about 60 underground volcanoes about 100 miles off the coast of california. there is no immediate threat but it is something the usgs and national weather service continue to monitor. reggie: we are keeping an eye on the wave heights right now along our coast line. you can see heights all the way down to monterey bay, currently at six feet. that is pretty normal for this time in our tight cycle -- tide cycle. wave height along the west coast anywhere from four to six feet over the next 24 hours. over this weekend, that was a pretty violent volcano that did make some ripples along our current surf. a live look from the east bay hills camera showing you we have partly cloudy skies out there. this afternoon, the air qu
