tim pernetti stepped down as rutgers atlantic director two days after they fired mike rice.s rice in this video pushing and shoving his players. in a letter to the rutgers president the a.d. wrote he hoped his tenure would not be judged by this one incident. he also said when he first saw the video he wanted to fire the coach but the school officials decided to suspend and fine him. the university president today apologized to the rutgers community for what he called a, quote: failure of process. >> five years in jail for crimes he did not commit is getting another shot at the nfl. is he brian banks. back in 2002 cops arrested him after a classmate accused him of kidnapping and rape. banks accepted a plea deal made up the story. prosecutors overturned his conviction. banks cried in court during his exoneration and just this week he signed contract with atlanta falcons. he told about his time in jail he felt angry at first but knew he had to change his mind set. >> i didn't want to be defined by this one moment in time. so i spent my time studying and educating myself and wan
