((ad-lib)) tropical storm javier continues to move up the pacific coast of the baja peninsula. by tomorrow is should become a tropical depression if not then as early as today. it's track is still confident moving north/northwest up the coast and will help surge in some moisture into the southwest. though javier's moisture looks to be shallow once it arrives, it will have support from our monsoon flow that will be caught u into the southwest. as it stands, moistures seems to weaken coming into southern nevada. our eastern mountains, lake mead and the colorado river seem to get a few isolated thunderstorms and showers with las vegas barely scraping together some light showers on the model runs. this, however, can change with updates we receive every 15mins so it will be monitored closely through today and tomorrow. our rain window is still late tonight into tomorrow early evening and then a drying trend will take over
