we're live in alexandria this evening, tom fitzgerald, fox5 local news. >> now to suitland where we are learning about a brutal crime. get this. police believe it started on a metrobus where a woman was targeted then followed home and attacked. >> they're telling us the predator forced his way inside of her apartment and sexually assaulted her. it happened tuesday afternoon near the suitland metro statn. matt ackland is live. police were able to get the suspects off the street pretty quickly here. >> reporter: yeah, that's right, jim. jim. in fact, detectives as soon as they got a call from that woman who said she was sexually assaulted, they worked around the clock until they had this suspect in custody. police also telling us tonight that they have video that they obtained from metro from that bus that shows the victim and the suspect on board. authorities say this started about 2:00 p.m. at the suitland metro station. the victim was on the bus and so was the suspect. court documents reveal the man followed the woman home. he then gained entry into her apartment after he knocked on he
