good morning, janine. >> reporter: good morning, tori. well, right now i'm at seaport boulevard an bloomquist where police have the road blocked off in the distance. you can see -- there is a plume of smoke still burning. that's because a smile there of scrap metal is burning at this hour and in the last 30 minutes or so, firefighters responded to a fire next door at the seaport refinery. it's about 200 feet away. now, the cause of that second fire is under investigation. it's a possibility that embers from the fire at sims could have traveled over there and sparked the fire. but at this point, firefighters don't know. we know three vehicles were burning there at this time. now, at the first fire, at simms refinery. that happened at 1:00 a.m. firefighters found a huge scrap of metal appliances. about 100 feet length and 30 feet high bumping. right now they are using excavators to break that metal apart and hose everything down. it's contained. it's not spreading but the fire is burning. fire officials don't know what caused that fire. the
