. >> reporter: on friday morning, they arrested willie torrence.e was the driver that shot the 3-year-old boy last week. thanks to information from the public, they were able to find the suspect. as of this morning, he is still in a clark county nevada detention facility. he has a court appearance scheduled for 7:30 this morning in las vegas, and in an update i just received from oakland police, he is going to be extradited to alameda county. but as to when that extra tradition process will start, police say it cannot begin until after the alameda county district attorney's office files charges against him. that has not happened yet. but taking a look at his past, he does have a criminal record. he was arrested for criminal threat and battery in 2009 for allegedly trying to choke his ex-girlfriend. he was also convicted of felony firearm possession in 2007. and now last week police also arrested the 26-year-old lawrence denard, accusing him of being the gunman in this drive-by shooting. he is scheduled to enter a plea to murder charges later this m
