. >> right, tracy.archbishop charles chaput is calling on area catholics to oppose this bill and is hoping their voice will help take down this measure. we're talking about house bill 1947. it passed in the house in harrisburg back in april. essentially what this bill does is extends the statute of limitations on claims of sexual abuse. it would allow past victims to file claims up until they're 50 years of age. right now the limit is age 30. it extends it 20 years. it would eliminate the criminal statute of limitations on future sex abuse cases. >> many don't come forward ever. many don't come forward for decades and decades and decades and their lives are inalterably changed. they have no statute of limitations on the pail and violence that was done on them. i believe the statute should be lifted both criminally and civilly and i supported what was in a sense a compromise measure to get some measure of justice to victims of sexual abuse. >> she had the supporters there, now the philadelphia archdioces

i'm tracy davidson.let's get right to the weather, meteorologist bill henley with his first alert neighborhood forecast. a look at conditions right where you live. morning, bill. >> morning, tracy. most of the area is clear of any rainfall. there are scattered clouds in philadelphia and the suburbs, even into interior new jersey and the shore. spots of fog in delaware. it's starting to thicken up. there's moisture coming in off the ocean but it's not going to lost. temperatures with sunshine will come up this afternoon, 86 degrees in philadelphia, interior new jersey into the middle 80s at the shore. right around 70 degrees. cooler with fog to start with and sunshine will be taking over during the day today. and these warm temperatures not going to be quite as warm tomorrow. the seven-day forecast which you can see at the bottom of the screen has some sunshine for tomorrow but temperatures that will be coming down over the next couple days. no sign of any showers till we get to the very end of the workwe
