"today in the bay" tracie potts live in washington, d.c. this morning with the latest. . >> reporter: right. and it looks like there may be no shooter there. the latest information that we are he' getting, laura, from authorities, they've done a first entire sweep of the place and there was no active shooter, no one found with a gun, no bullet holes seen, no shots heard. the initial report was a possible shots fired, but they haven't found anyone who heard gunshots in that facility. now, the s.w.a.t. team doing ago second team just to be sure about but d.c. ems, the emergency personnel, dozens of ambulances told us that no one there has been treated. that is certainly good news. initially the officials that we talked to there said that they thought it may be a post or a tweet, something online that gave them the concern that there may have been shots fired. there was a heavy response of police, the fbi, ambulances, they even stepped up security at the white house about a mile or so away. they are as far as we know still on lockdown, people were asked to shelter in place.
