it is one of the busiest travel days of the year. megan mcgrath is live among the frantic flyers this morning. how is it looking so far? >> it actually looks pretty good right now. we see a quiet period right around this time. you can take a look for yourself. we've got some activity, there are people here but we're not seeing the long lines and crush of folks, at least not yet. we're expecting this evenings to pick up as the day progresses. what we are seeing up on the boards, though, are some delays and cancellations. there are two flights to the new york area that have been cancelled. we're seeing some delays into cincinnati and memphis as well. rule of thumb here before you leave, just call your airline, make sure that everything is on time, scheduled and the like. you don't want to get here to the airport and discover your flight has been cancelled or something along those lines. weather along the east coast, philadelphia has a lot of fog. whenever we have weather like that in other areas, there's that trickle down effect. it ca

speak was of the holidays and traveling, the busiest travel time of the year, i thought we'd start with a look around the sexri then we'll zoom back home and see what's going on here in baltimore. up in new york, there could be rain there. 75 in atlanta. atlanta is a big connecting hub, so if you're flying in there, there could be flight delays this afternoon. 63 in dallas with a chance for rain showers. rain comes in in the afternoon in tampa. dry in chicago, 48. 47 in seattle. make it up to 61 in los angeles, and it should stay dry. one thing of note here, there's some arctic air across the northern plains. the dakotas may not get out of the 20's and 30's. most of the rain around here is now pushing off the eastern shore and moving away from baltimore. we should wind up with basically dry morning. there's a little bit of fog and drizzle out there to start the day today. visibility is down to half a mile in spots, but knowing we might get a peek of the sun during the middle of the day if we're lucky. the temperatures aren't going to move much. for this time of the year you say this is
