trenton has seen a few scattered showers just tapering off in wilmington where it is 41 degrees. it's a rainy view from little mountain in the pocano mountains. it will be on and off rainfall but a pretty steady rain to start with this morning in the mountains. there you can see it streaming through with some thunderstorm activity just to the northwest of allentown this morning. the chance of thunderstorms, everybody is going to see some activity in the region during the day today. but like we are getting right now, breaks in the rainfall. just steady stuff in south jersey. the steadier heavier showers pushing offshore in atlantic city where thunder and lightning is still happening. now look at what is on the way to the west. that's a strong line of storms. in fact, severe weather with a tornado warning in effect right now for central kentucky phillipsburg, greenbriar, under a warning right now with radar indicating rotation there with storms rolling through kentucky and the ohio valley. that's what is headed our way for later today. in fact the future weather hour by hour shows

we have air temperatures right around 38 in trenton. 40 in atlantic city.nd look at those winds coming in out of the north and east 10 to 15 miles per hour on average. so by 10:00 o'clock we'll continue to find numbers upper 30s low 40s tomorrow morning. it's going chilly and drizzily and cloudy. tomorrow afternoon high temperatures mid to upper 40s at best. and then as we move toward friday temperatures are going to recover into the 70s. so as we roll the clock you can see pockets of drizzle fog showers on and off again throughout the entire evening and overnight. tomorrow morning it's cloudy we're looking at some fog and drizzle out there and then tomorrow afternoon similar to today. tomorrow night, we're looking at clouds fog and drizzle. then friday morning a warm front will advance so we're looking at some pockets of some showers to start on friday. then we get a break. some sunshine. warming us up southerly winds then 4:00 p.m. we'll be watching toward the west. the pocono mountains the lehigh valley, berks county, reading watching out for some strong

so by 5am you can see trenton philadelphia wilmington some light showers moving in.e steadier rain back toward berks county as well as sections of the pocono mountains and then by 10:00 o'clock it look like we'll get a little bit of a break by mid morning into the first part of lunch tomorrow then during the afternoon we'll watch another little impulse rotate through and that will give us scattered showers likely for the early evening commute. but the system starts to fizzle out as we move toward say toward 10:00 o'clock on friday so friday night plans looking okay. better devil than the day. now as far as what's happening with that precip total. you can see as we roll the clock ahead through a 11:00 o'clock tomorrow night a tenth of an inch to like about a third of an inch. mainly from trenton to philadelphia as well as wilmington probably lesser amounts once you move into south jersey and delaware. so a little different than the last system that brought most of the heavier rain south and east of philadelphia last time. for tonight mostly cloudy a few overnight show
