and i understand what tuberville is doing is unprecedented. usually they're all done together. well, if we had to vote on all these nominees, we've asked them, they estimated it would take about 30 days if we were working seven days a week and 24 hours a day to get these nominations through. that means we can't do the supplemental appropriations for ukraine which is critical to the success of the ukrainians, and for our and nato's success. we couldn't talk about the day of continuing resolution to keep it open. if we pick and choose one or two, what about the rest of those men and women? they'll be left behind. one of the thing about being in the military is you don't leave people behind. we have to get this done. unless there is an objection based on facts to a nominee, these nominees will move forward. and that's what we have to do. and it is the republicans who will have to stand up on the floor of the senate and say, this is wrong. we must go ahead and confirm these officers so their own satisfaction, their own reward for service, and for the safety of the nation. what happ
