this is off monterey and old tully road. kris, what do we know so far? >> well, we'll have to say suspected arsonist at this point because that's what the owner thinks happen. however, the fire department, investigators are not confirming that at this point. the firefighters just left the scene here, but this is the restaurant where the fire happened around 3:15 this morning. in fact, when our crews arrived, it was a pretty good firefight. the fire was pretty aggressive and very quick moving. you can see a security guard coming out now to check on the premises. the fire burned about 20 minutes before firefighters were able to get it under control. now, when we were here, we also saw investigators up on the rooftop of that building looking down into something on the top of the building. so we don't know if that is where the fire originated at this point. but there's not a lot of visible burn marks on the outside of the building. so the battalion chief who is out here this morning said he's not ready to confirm anything at this point. but that he did hear
