storms coming toward wheeling, west virginia now, south of pittsburgh, approaching the pennsylvania turnpike. this is all sticking off to the south. in a few more hours it'll make it into maryland and northern virginia. could be a problem around here for the mid to latter part of the afternoon. i've added the lightning, and a couple of things you're going to notice, there seems to be a lot less of it here in the last half hour. we've seen this line weaken some. the air around us is kind of dry. there's not a lot of low-level moisture, but there is plenty of dynamic energy with this. the storm prediction center has us, at least west of 95 in the slight risk area for severe weather. a main concern, any storms we get could have some damaging wind gusts, hail would be a secondary concern, but this area goes all the way back toward kentucky. so for the afternoon, well, we're going to warm up into the 70s, mid-70s. that's going to help, that threat for some isolated to scattered thunderstorms through the early part of dinner, but by 9:00 we should be done and in the upper 60s. i'll be back with th
