with three interns four years ago and now we have 19 intern and four sites and we placed people in ucsf making an average of $25 an hour. and so we are really proud about how, you know, we opened up this dialogue with ucsf and the california public utilities commission and the departments talked about, you know, this program is great and how do we get involved with this? the project search, is an educational tool for the whole site and the interns involved and it educates them on how to work with the individual with disability and give the interns the opportunity to be immersed in a setting while being with their on site job coach and also starts the dialogue about the people with disabilitied being employed. this is mainly through the inner department, dialogue about how this program has been and how they want to participate in this program. a partnership of the city and county of san francisco to bring the projects for staoet and county is one way to address the desire of the city of san francisco to be diverse in the workforce and to use the rule, 115 to the advantage of the citizens

u s s america and naval ships and altogether we saw 30,000 visitors and 19,000 which visited the u ucsf u.s.s america. on saturday we we were very proud, san francisco to host the usa america. the first missamerica and she is the one where ms. america is named and she was then purchased by the navy and used to stop politic -- blockade runners. the navy commission was the third vessel, she is an amphibian assault vessel and an aircraft carrier and has carried no. more aircraft than any carrier below and has multiple decks and also built for humanitarian aid and assistants and an icu and 22 dental rooms and 900 enlisted and 1600 marines. she carries navy personnel and marine personnel. it was really terrific and fun to see all of the family members whose sons, daughters, wives, husbands were going on to be stationed at the ship. she is homemade in san diego. we would like to thank the volunteers. four of them are admirals, four colonels, we have a colonel in the marine corps and 11 was michael and rene dup marpt martin from the port and they worked for almost a year to make this happen. a

my home but over the last 4 years i've done hosted family members one particular family members at ucsfedical school and hosted friends through divorces and most recently 0 people that were in transition that were friends of friends needed to find accommodatess in san francisco and a multiple month process they wouldn't have been able to stay in hotels lastly airbnb is a more recent thing it's great i appreciate the efforts of supervisor chiu in putting this legislation forward the safety issues and insurance issues and so on and so forth those are great things many of us homeowners want to do this aboveboard and not in secret so i'd like to make the one point that we should distinguish between hosted and unhosted i've never hosted a guest when i was not home i've also been present i'd like to continue that i appreciate we're looking at that distinction as you've just mentioned i think those are the things i'd like to say i want to encourage us to find the right balance supervisor kim appreciate the effort you're making to try to alleviated the housing crisis. >> thank you very much bef
